SOLID WASTES GASIFICATION MACHINE

SOLID WASTES GASIFICATION MACHINE

SWGM is a standalone solid wastes gasification machine that processes and converts segregated municipal solid wastes from Materials Recovery Facilities (MRF) and/or unsegregated municipal solid wastes from residential, commercial, and industrial sources into Synthesis Gas (SynGas), inert ash, water vapor and heat inside a controlled environment facility using Gasification Technology. The SynGas produced in the gasification process are guided, harnessed, and used to fuel the gasification process of the succeeding batches of municipal solid wastes, thereby, minimizing the use of external fuel sources. Solid wastes such as metals, glass, ceramic, stone, sand, and soil cannot be gasified because these are not carbonaceous materials.

SWGM is a ‘one-stop-shop’ and a ‘last touch’ solution on municipal solid wastes management system because the inert ash output does not need any further processing or special handling as it can be used directly as an additive for construction materials or as an agricultural fertilizer mix. The water vapor and heat generated by the system can be released into the atmosphere after passing through the internal cyclone air purification system as it complies with the local and international emission control standards.

GASIFICATION OF SOLID WASTES

Gasification of Solid Wastes is a chemical process where municipal solid waste is heated in a low-oxygen controlled environment facility to the point that it breaks down into its constituent molecules. The process has two byproducts (1) Synthesis Gas and (2) Inert ash or Char.

VALUE PROPOSITION

a. Rapid decomposition of municipal wastes from 15 to 30 minutes only as compared to conventional dumpsites which take over 15 years to fully decompose the wastes.

b. Urban Dump Site – SWGM installation requires a very small space as compared to the typical dump site or land fill facilities. The machine can be setup within the vacant spaces of the MRF facility of any municipality or city and it can start receiving and processing municipal solid wastes

c. Practically No Smoke and No Smell – All of the chemical processes of the gasification technology occur in a controlled facility inside the SWGM unit, thereby, eliminating and removing harmful and foul smelling smoke and gas emissions. The ash and char byproducts are already inert materials and do not anymore produce any chemical or biological reactions.

d. No external energy source is needed to destroy solid wastes. SWGM use the SynGas as its main fuel source to destroy the garbage.

e. SWGM is an ideal solution for rehabilitation of any existing dump sites into useful piece of real estate.
